Ingredients
- Muffuletta Bread (or Any Good Italian Bread)
- 1/4 Pound Swiss Cheese
- 1/4 Pound Mortadella
- 1/4 Pound Genoa Salami
- 1/4 Pound Ham
- Generous Amount Jay’s Muffuletta Salad
How to Build the Sandwich
First, Muffuletta Bread is usually only found in New Orleans but, you can substitute with a good Italian Bread from your local market. Try to find a dense loaf about 8-inches in diameter or you can purchase our Muffuletta Bread online. Slice the bread horizontally in half. Put a small amount of the oil from our salad on both sides of the bread (this is considered the Mayonnaise). On the top side of the bread, put a generous amount of Jay’s Muffuletta Salad, on the other half of the bread build your meats and cheese. Place bottom half on top half and cut into fours. Will feed two(2) people generously. Enjoy!
